ScrapxScrap challenge #16

The japanese blog ScrapxScrap was holding its 16th challenge this month... i liked the constraints, so i decided to take part to it. Unfortunately, i think i may be late to actually enter the challenge but it was fun doing a LO for a challenge, i'm not used to respect strict rules when scrapping!

Here were the constraints to follow:
1.Think of Eco Friendly scrapbooking (take it as youlike, in whatever way)
I used two pics i cut out from cheesecakes packages, along with a lid that is used to seal said cheesecakes (they come in tiny glass cups, and are really yummy, btw).
I also avoided to use any pre-made embellishment, but played with my paper punches, using remainings from previous projects & basic school stationery (u can say i'm back to the uni...)

2. Try using complementary colors
Lemon yellow, and blueberry violet, the pics made it all.

3.Add swirl for your finishing touch
This one has been a real nightmare for me. I cannot stand swirls. I mean, i like swirls, they are so feminine and elegant, and they really add a nice finishing touch to everyone's layout. Everyone but me!
I don't know why, i never manage to integrate swirls to my works. So this was the really challenging part, and finally i'm not too unsatisfied with the result.

And here is my attempt:

The strange bicolor lid is because i had to mount two scan images :p

Thanks for looking!
